We’re pleased to announce we have finally received notice from the Internal Revenue Service that Timber Ridge Elementary School PTSA 2.18.10 has been approved as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity !
Effective Date of Exemption is May 31, 2016.
This means that donors can deduct contributions they make to the TRES PTSA under IRC Section 170. We are also qualified to receive corporate matching gifts. Please contact us if you need our EIN or any other information for your tax purposes.
Please contact your employer to see if matching gifts can be made retroactively to your “Pass The Hat” fundraising campaign. Many employers allow up to a year to submit requests.
